SWAP is the State-Wide Agricultural Production model for California, led by Richard Howitt and Josue Medellin-Azuara. This model is usually used to provide the economic value of agricultural water deliveries for different parts of California, used in the CALVIN model. SWAP also provides insightful post-processing capability, providing crop mix and other information based on water deliveries estimated from CALVIN.
